Strawberry Vanilla Protein Oats (Print)

Creamy overnight oats layered with strawberries, vanilla, chia seeds, and protein for a nourishing start.

# Ingredients:

→ Oats & Seeds

01 - 1 cup old-fashioned rolled oats
02 - 2 tablespoons chia seeds

→ Protein & Dairy

03 - 1 cup unsweetened milk (dairy or plant-based)
04 - 1/2 cup Greek yogurt (or plant-based yogurt)
05 - 1 scoop (30 g) vanilla protein powder

→ Fruits

06 - 1 cup fresh strawberries, hulled and chopped

→ Sweetener & Flavor

07 - 2 tablespoons maple syrup or honey
08 - 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
09 - Pinch of salt

# Instructions:

01 - In a medium mixing bowl or large jar, combine oats, chia seeds, protein powder, and salt.
02 - Add milk, Greek yogurt, maple syrup or honey, and vanilla extract. Mix thoroughly until fully combined.
03 - Gently fold in half of the chopped strawberries into the mixture.
04 - Divide the mixture evenly between two containers or jars. Top with remaining strawberries.
05 - Cover and refrigerate for at least 6 hours or overnight to allow oats and chia seeds to absorb the liquid.
06 - In the morning, stir the mixture well. Add a splash of milk if a thinner consistency is preferred. Serve chilled.

# Pro Tips:

01 -
  • You literally sleep while breakfast makes itself, no alarm required for meal prep stress.
  • One jar keeps you full through your entire morning without the mid-morning slump.
  • It tastes like dessert but delivers the protein and fiber your body actually needs.
02 -
  • Don't skip the salt—it's what makes every other ingredient taste brighter and more like itself, not just sweet oatmeal.
  • Always fold the strawberries rather than stir them vigorously, otherwise you'll end up with pink-tinted oats and no actual berry pieces by morning.
03 -
  • Mix everything except the final berry topping the night before, then add fresh strawberries in the morning if you want them to stay extra bright and firm.
  • If your jars seem too thick in the morning, don't panic—just stir in a splash of milk rather than reaching for your blender, which can break down the lovely texture.
