- Combine warm milk, warm water, granulated sugar, and active dry yeast in a large mixing bowl. Allow the mixture to rest for 5 to 10 minutes, or until it becomes foamy.
- Add melted butter, large egg, and salt to the activated yeast mixture. Stir thoroughly to blend.
- Add all-purpose flour gradually, mixing continuously until a soft dough forms. Knead manually for 8 to 10 minutes, or use a stand mixer with dough hook attachment for 5 to 6 minutes, until the dough achieves a smooth and elastic texture.
- Transfer the dough to a greased bowl and cover. Allow it to rise in a warm, draft-free area for approximately 1 hour, until the dough has doubled in volume.
- Punch down the risen dough and divide into 12 uniform pieces. Flatten each piece, place 1 to 2 tablespoons of cheese filling in the center, and pinch the edges to seal. Shape each into a smooth ball.
- Place the filled dough balls, seam-side down, into a lightly greased 9x13-inch baking dish. Cover and let rise for 20 to 30 minutes.
- Preheat the oven to 350°F. Mix melted butter, minced garlic, parsley, and salt in a small bowl. Brush half the garlic butter over the proofed rolls.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 20 to 25 minutes, or until the dinner rolls are golden brown and cooked through.
- Brush the baked rolls with the remaining garlic butter while still hot. Serve warm.
