Chewy bars layered with chocolate, butterscotch, coconut, nuts, and salted caramel drizzle.
# Ingredients:
→ Crust
01 - 1 1/2 cups graham cracker crumbs
02 - 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
→ Layers
03 - 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
04 - 1 cup butterscotch chips
05 - 1 cup sweetened shredded coconut
06 - 1/2 cup chopped walnuts or pecans
07 - 1 cup sweetened condensed milk
→ Salted Caramel Drizzle
08 - 1/2 cup granulated sugar
09 - 2 tablespoons water
10 - 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
11 - 1/4 cup heavy cream
12 - 1/2 teaspoon flaky sea salt
# Instructions:
01 - Preheat the oven to 350°F. Line a 9x9-inch baking pan with parchment paper, leaving an overhang for easy removal.
02 - Combine graham cracker crumbs with melted butter until evenly incorporated. Press firmly into the bottom of the prepared pan to create an even crust layer.
03 - Evenly distribute chocolate chips over the crust, then layer butterscotch chips, shredded coconut, and chopped nuts in that order.
04 - Pour sweetened condensed milk evenly over all the layered ingredients, ensuring full coverage.
05 - Bake for 25 to 30 minutes until the edges turn golden and the center is set. Remove from oven and allow to cool completely in the pan.
06 - In a small saucepan over medium heat, combine sugar and water. Stir until sugar dissolves, then stop stirring and cook until the mixture deepens to a rich amber color (approximately 4–5 minutes). Remove from heat, whisk in butter, then gradually add heavy cream while whisking continuously. Stir in flaky sea salt and let the caramel cool slightly.
07 - Drizzle the cooled salted caramel over the baked bars. Allow the caramel to set before lifting the bars from the pan using the parchment overhang. Cut into 16 squares and serve.
